 PLAYLIST PROG SCANDINAVO, AMERICANO, POLACCO

Ho creato tre playlist su You Tube riguardanti il Progressive Rock, nei paesi nordici, in America ed in Polonia. Interessante è ascoltare la differenza fra le nazioni, anche se la globalizzazione di internet ha molto accomunato il genere. Il Progressive Rock nordico ha sicuramente atmosfere più scure e riconducibili ai King Crimson e Van Der Graaf Generator su tutti. L'America resta maggiormente orecchiabile in quanto propensa al prodotto che vende di più come suggerisce il loro DNA (non tutte le band ovviamente sono commerciali,  ci sono anche moltissime che fanno musica impegnata... Intendiamoci, l'America è grande). La Polonia invece stupisce per modernità, ossia ricerca di più le soluzioni miste a psichedelia quella dettata da band più recenti come Porcupine Tree, No Man, Steven Wilson etc. In più hanno una grandissima tradizione Neo Prog, molte hanno come punto di riferimento i Pendragon o i Marillion. Non a caso proprio i Pendragon e gli Arena spesso registrano in Polonia i loro live. Spero che qui  possiate trovarci nuove emozioni. Buon ascolto.

I've created three playlists on YouTube regarding Progressive Rock, in Nordic countries, America, and Poland. It's interesting to listen to the differences between nations, even though the globalization of the internet has made the genre more similar. Nordic Progressive Rock certainly has darker atmospheres, reminiscent of King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Generator above all. America remains more ear-friendly, being more prone to products that sell more, as suggested by their DNA (not all bands are commercial, of course; there are also many that make committed music... Let's be clear, America is vast). Poland, on the other hand, surprises with its modernity, seeking mixed solutions with psychedelia, as dictated by more recent bands like Porcupine Tree, No Man, Steven Wilson, etc. Moreover, they have a great Neo-Prog tradition, with many bands taking Pendragon or Marillion as their reference points. Not by chance, Pendragon and Arena often record their live performances in Poland. I hope you can find new emotions here. Enjoy listening.
