La Giuria premia il disco "Al Trop" dei L'Effet Defee come miglior debutto dell'anno.
Questo disco è pura bellezza, una fusione tra lirismo e rabbia, tra realtà e magia, tra fate e violenza, un inquietante e affascinante affresco musicale difficilmente catalogabile. La band di "debuttante" ha solo la discografia ma non il livello tecnico-artistico e la creatività.
Gli Effet Defee possono entrare a far parte dell'elite del Progressive Rock moderno ma non per questo debbono essere definiti sperimentali o all'avanguardia;la loro musica è qualcosa che è a stretto contatto con il palco, qualcosa di estremamente terreno ed umano ma al tempo stesso etereo ed impalpabile: "Al Trop" è un mirabile esempio della direzione che la musica moderna dovrebbe seguire.

The Jury awarded the Effet Defee's record "Al Trop" as best debut record of the year.
This record is pure beauty, a blend between lyricism and anger, between reality and magic, between fairies and violence, a disquieting and fascinanting musical painting difficult to categorize. The "novice" status of the band is only in the discography but not in the artistic-technical level and creativity.
The Effet Defee can join the "elite" of the modern Progressive Rock but not for this must be described like esperimental or avantgarde band; their music is strongly related to the stage, something very earthly and human but, at the same time, ethereal and intangible: "Al Trop" is a wonderful example of the direction that modern music should follow.
