Tiziano Fantappiè è un artista estremamente eclettico, la cui carriera si muove tra la composizione di colonne sonore, la produzione e il polistrumentismo. Fiorentino di nascita (classe 1990) ma di base a Madrid, ha costruito un profilo internazionale grazie alla sua capacità di fondere generi apparentemente distanti. Ha iniziato a suonare a 13 anni e nel 2017 si è laureato al Conservatorio Cherubini. Non è solo un cantautore, ma un vero e proprio architetto del suono. Ha iniziato a collaborare con il mondo del teatro e della pubblicità (lavorando per brand come Dolce & Gabbana e Zucchetti). La sua musica è spesso descritta come Eclectic Prog, influenzata da giganti come Frank Zappa, i Led Zeppelin e Miles Davis, con un'attenzione maniacale per l'arrangiamento strumentale.
"Etciù" rappresenta un momento di sintesi nella sua produzione. Il titolo, che richiama onomatopeicamente uno starnuto, suggerisce una sorta di "reazione improvvisa" o uno sfogo creativo necessario.  Potrei anche definire l'album come un ibrido audace che spazia dalla musica classica contemporanea all'Alternative/Indie, con venature Rock.
Composto di sette tracce, inizia con “White Sadness”, il quale si distingue per un minimalismo ricercato che esplode gradualmente in un arrangiamento stratificato. La "tristezza bianca" del titolo viene evocata attraverso l'uso di pad atmosferici che creano un senso di freddo e isolamento, quasi a mimare un paesaggio innevato o una luce asettica. Fantappiè utilizza il riverbero e il delay per creare trame sonore che ricordano il Post Rock più malinconico, allontanandosi dalle strutture Blues Rock dei suoi esordi. Il brano evita risoluzioni banali, mantenendo l'ascoltatore in uno stato di sospensione emotiva in cui la spazialità è curatissima.
In “Out Of Time” il tema centrale è il conflitto con il tempo. Fantappiè esplora l'ansia della modernità e la sensazione di essere costantemente in ritardo rispetto alle proprie aspettative o alle scadenze della vita. Non è solo "mancanza di tempo", ma la sensazione di essere fuori sincrono rispetto al resto del mondo. Si sentono echi di un Rock Progressivo moderno, dove la complessità non è mai fine a se stessa, ma serve a descrivere la frenesia mentale.
Si cambia timbro con “Afraid Of The Clouds” in un ritmo dance in crescendo sonoro esaltato sia dai synth che dalla chitarra sempre adoperata in bilico fra tecnica e ricerca. Solamente nel finale si possono godere le nuvole passare.
Fantappiè sovrappone diverse linee melodiche che si inseguono in “G Canon Impetus”, due minuti di chitarre acustiche dove il confine tra musica colta e Rock svanisce. Frammento intimo e toccante.
Con “Cadillac” l’autore mette in campo tutte le qualità sia compositive classicheggianti che moderne, a dimostrazione di una freschezza compositiva acquisita con esperienza negli anni.
Con un clap di mani si apre “Silence Water”, altro movimento studiato e approfondito da ottimi arrangiamenti e suoni. Il ritmo è intrigante, così l’inserimento di scale al confine del Jazz.
Chiude la title track di undici minuti abbondanti,  brano più eclettico e dinamico del disco. È qui che il termine Eclectic Prog trova la sua massima espressione e si denota anche una certa passione del musicista per Robert Fripp e i suoi King Crimson era “Discipline” e “Red”, ma soprattutto per Frank Zappa.
La forza di quest’album risiede nella complessità strumentale, un ascolto da fare in cuffia per godere dei dettagli sonori (chitarre, synth, partiture quasi orchestrali) che rivelano la sua natura di compositore per immagini.
Fantappiè sembra aver abbandonato parte della giocosità dei lavori precedenti (come "Djambo") per abbracciare una profondità più solenne, confermandosi uno degli artisti più originali del panorama indipendente europeo. Dedicategli un attento ascolto. MS

Fantappiè utilizes reverb and delay to create soundscapes reminiscent of the most melancholic Post-Rock, moving away from the Blues Rock structures of his early days. The piece avoids cliché resolutions, keeping the listener in a state of emotional suspense within a meticulously crafted spatial environment.
In “Out Of Time,” the central theme is the conflict with time. Fantappiè explores modern anxiety and the feeling of being constantly late in relation to one's own expectations or life's deadlines. It is not just a "lack of time," but the sensation of being out of sync with the rest of the world. Here, one hears echoes of modern Progressive Rock, where complexity is never an end in itself but serves to describe mental frenzy.
The tone shifts with “Afraid Of The Clouds,” featuring a dance rhythm in a sonic crescendo heightened by both synths and a guitar performance poised between technical skill and experimentation. Only in the finale can one truly enjoy the clouds passing by.
Fantappiè overlays various chasing melodic lines in “G Canon Impetus,” two minutes of acoustic guitars where the boundary between "cultured" music and Rock vanishes. It is an intimate and touching fragment.
With “Cadillac,” the author showcases his full range of both classical and modern compositional qualities, demonstrating a creative freshness acquired through years of experience.
A handclap opens “Silence Water,” another movement characterized by deep study and excellent arrangements and sounds. The rhythm is intriguing, as is the inclusion of scales bordering on Jazz.
The album closes with the eleven-minute title track, the most eclectic and dynamic piece on the record. It is here that the term "Eclectic Prog" finds its maximum expression, revealing the musician's passion for Robert Fripp and the Discipline and Red eras of King Crimson, but above all, for Frank Zappa.
The strength of this album lies in its instrumental complexity; it is a "headphone listen" required to appreciate the sonic details (guitars, synths, nearly orchestral scores) that reveal his nature as a composer for images. Fantappiè seems to have abandoned some of the playfulness of previous works (such as “Djambo”) to embrace a more solemn depth, confirming his status as one of the most original artists on the European independent scene.
