NEMO, MILANO, CLEMENTE – Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza

Claudio Milano in questo 2024 è letteralmente un fiume in piena, mettendo a disposizione dell’arte tre opere differenti fra loro realizzate in progetti altrettanto distinti: I SINCOPATICI “Decimo Cerchio (L’Inferno 1911 O.S.T.)”, NICHELODEON ft BORDA –“Quigyat” (di cui potete leggere le relative recensioni qui nel blog) e questo “NEMO, MILANO, CLEMENTE –“Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza”.
Veniamo subito a conoscenza dei tre artisti, Nemo (Pianoforte e voce), è l’ ”Essenza”, un ricercatore vocale che racchiude in se i canti orientali e occidentali che badano alla sostanza. E’ la coscienza del sé che tralascia tutto ciò che è superfluo. La passione che ha per lo Yoga sposa pienamente il suo essere. Qualcuno di voi potrà ricordarlo anche a “The Voice” con il brano “Amore Che Vieni, Amore Che Vai” dell’indimenticato Faber.
Per Claudio Milano, (Nichelodeon) non basterebbe il blog per descrivere tutta la sua arte sempre in divenire, alla ricerca di collaborazioni e dell’odore dei palchi teatrali, dove si cimenta in rappresentazioni che fondono performance con la minuziosa ricerca vocale. Qui, sceglie di farsi decostruire dal collaboratore e compositore Teo “Borda” Ravelli.
Niccolò Clemente (Whale), è un compositore estemporaneo e polistrumentista, anche lui ricercatore dell’essenza umana nell’universo. In quest’opera quindi funge da uomo di scienza, medico pediatra umanista e illuminista.
“Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza” sembra non avere luogo e tempo. Gli artisti si ritagliano un universo specifico in cui esprimere la propria spiritualità terapeutica. Si sa che l’uomo è alla ricerca continua di se stesso, della propria coscienza, della spiritualità, e la musica non è altro che uno strumento per avvicinarsi adeguatamente allo scopo. Musica sì, ma fatta con la mente, il cuore e, aggiungo io, il corpo. Le tre voci si passano staffetta durante la rappresentazione che inizia con “Frattura Iniziale” dove il pianoforte conduce in un’ atmosfera lieve. La musica e il teso sono di Nemo, il quale presta la voce a un contesto arabeggiante. Gli effetti eco di sfondo pongono profondità dando la sensazione del vuoto. Di Clemente è “Comparsa”, anche in questo caso la ricerca per la quiete viaggia sui tasti d’avorio e va a fondersi con i testi recitati attraverso la visione del teatro della voce da parte di Milano.
L’atto più lungo di diciotto minuti s’intitola “Dissolvenza”, su musica di Milano e Ravelli e testo di Milano, Clemente. La nenia iniziale è ipnotica, supportata dall’elettronica di base. Qui Milano mette in pasto all’ascoltatore tutte le capacità artistiche. A differenza delle precedenti tracce, aleggia inquietudine, oscurità… Paura. Avanguardia messa a disposizione della rappresentazione metafisica.
Torna la quiete pianistica nella conclusiva “Frattura Finale”, ancora una volta realizzata e pensata da Nemo.
Il disco è contenuto in un artwork unico e speciale, come lo sono questi tre artisti della mente, praticamente un libro in cui leggere tutte le spiegazioni del caso, dettagliate in maniera esaustiva. Il
Booklet è a cura di Clemente, di Claudio invece il testo che descrive per filo e per segno cos'è il progetto. Nell’ultima pagina contenente il cd fisico, c’è il QR Code che collega al video integrale della performance live.
“Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza”, aiuta a scoprire i lati occlusi della nostra mente, una ricerca coscienziale dell’uomo futuro, un divenire che va estrapolato dentro ognuno di noi, senza freni inibitori o paletti restrittivi di sorta. Tutto questo perché siamo umani, e dobbiamo capire qual è il nostro contesto in quest’universo. Affidiamoci a loro. MS

Claudio Milano in this 2024 is literally a river in flood, putting at the disposal of art three different works among them made in equally distinct projects: I SINCOPATICI “Decimo Cerchio (L’Inferno 1911 O.S.T.)”, NICHELODEON ft BORDA - “Quigyat” (of which you can read the relevant reviews here in the blog) and this “NEMO, MILANO, CLEMENTE - ”Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza”.
We quickly learn about the three artists, Nemo (Piano and Voice), is the “Essence”, a vocal seeker who encompasses Eastern and Western chants that attend to substance. He is self-awareness that leaves out all that is superfluous. The passion he has for yoga fully marries his being. Some of you may also remember him on “The Voice” with the song “Amore Che Vieni, Amore Che Vai” by the unforgettable Faber.
For Claudio Milano, (Nichelodeon), the blog would not be enough to describe all of his ever-evolving art, seeking out collaborations and the smell of theater stages, where he tries his hand at performances that blend performance with meticulous vocal research. Here, he chooses to be deconstructed by collaborator and composer Teo “Borda” Ravelli.
Niccolò Clemente (Whale), is an extemporaneous composer and multi-instrumentalist, also a seeker of the human essence in the universe. In this work, therefore, he functions as a man of science, a pediatric humanist physician, and an enlightener.
“Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza” seems to have no place or time. Artists carve out a specific universe in which to express their therapeutic spirituality. It is known that man is constantly searching for himself, for his consciousness, for spirituality, and music is nothing but a tool to adequately approach the purpose. Music yes, but made with the mind, the heart and, I would add, the body. The three voices pass relays during the performance, which begins with “Frattura Iniziale” where the piano leads into a 'light atmosphere. The music and tense are by Nemo, who lends his voice to an arabesque backdrop. Background echo effects pose depth giving the feeling of emptiness. By Clement is “Comparsa,” again the quest for stillness travels on ivory keys and merges with the texts recited through Milan's vision of voice theater.
The longest act of eighteen minutes is titled “Dissolvenza”, to music by Milano and Ravelli and text by Milano, Clement. The opening dirge is hypnotic, supported by the basic electronics. Here Milano puts all of his artistic skills into the listener's hands. Unlike the previous tracks, it hovers eeriness, darkness -- fear. Avant-garde put at the disposal of metaphysical representation.
The piano quietness returns in the concluding “Frattura Finale”, once again made and conceived by Nemo.
The disc is contained in unique and special artwork, as these three artists of the mind are, practically a book in which to read all the relevant explanations, exhaustively detailed. The
Booklet is by Clement, by Claudio instead the text that describes in full what the project is all about. On the last page containing the physical CD, there is the QR Code that links to the full video of the live performance.
“Frattura, Comparsa, Dissolvenza “, helps to uncover the occluded sides of our minds, a conscientious search for the future man, a becoming that must be extrapolated within each of us, without inhibiting brakes or restrictive stakes of any kind. All this is because we are human, and we need to understand what our context is in this universe. Let us rely on them. MS
